Are prawn toilets a thing of the past…keeping bottoms clean a better proposal.

Much was made of concentrating shrimp wastes in pond..then removing them via a flush out shrimp toilet.

This has been an interesting solution to the problem to remove all that excess “sludge”. but understanding the reductionary nature of shrimp culture everything can stay in and be reduced and converted to protein by the shrimp and bacteria – with the current keeping bottoms clean.
