Apparently an industry wide panic (according to some) happened after a 4th August post on IHHNV in USA causing a temporary ban of US PL exports from one hatchery.

Europe is a small but growing market and it is about time that a local solution is developed – not least to lower the ridiculously high logistics costs.

This concern may have helped EU players to re-focus.
